The fragrance pyramid expresses how a fragrance unfolds complex olfactory layers overtime: beginning with top notes that will unravel and hit your nose first, followed by lasting middle notes, and finally base notes that serve as the foundation and gradually become the most prominent scent as the other layers fade.
Jacques Guerlain was a renowned French perfumer and the third generation family member to lead the famous perfume house, Guerlain.
