Sweet Lime

Sweet lime, scientifically known as Citrus limetta, is a type of citrus fruit similar in appearance to a lime, but larger and with a more rounded shape. The skin of a sweet lime is typically pale green to yellow, depending on its ripeness. Sweet limes are celebrated for their low acidity and lack of sourness, distinct from the more common limes.

The flesh of sweet lime is juicy and sweet, and it can be either yellowish or greenish in hue. This fruit is most often consumed in the form of fresh juice, which is valued for its refreshing qualities and sweet, mellow flavor.
