Pomelo

Pomelo, a large citrus fruit native to Southeast Asia, is the largest citrus species from the family Rutaceae, often growing as big as a watermelon. Its thick, pale green or yellow rind encases a juicy, bright yellow or pink flesh. The fruit's taste is similar to that of a grapefruit but sweeter and less bitter, which makes it a popular choice in culinary uses both fresh and in juices.

The scent profile of pomelo is sharply citrus and refreshingly sweet with hints of floral notes. Its aroma is often described as cleaner and milder compared to grapefruit. Alongside its zesty and tangy citrus top notes, pomelo also carries a subtle yet detectable bitterness in the background, similar to that found in other citrus peels. This combination gives it a bright, uplifting fragrance that's often used in perfumes, scented candles, and other products aimed at invigorating the senses. Its light and airy scent profile makes it particularly appealing for use in fresh, summery fragrances.
