Hydrangea

Hydrangeas are a popular group of flowering shrubs known for their lush, rounded clusters of blooms and broad, vibrant leaves. They are typically found in shades of blue, pink, white, and purple, with the color often influenced by the soil's acidity. Hydrangeas thrive in a range of environments but prefer moist, well-drained soil and partial to full shade.

Interestingly, hydrangeas do not have a strong or distinctive scent. The flowers are mostly grown for their visual appeal rather than for fragrance. While some varieties may emit a subtle, sweet, and somewhat green fragrance, it is generally very mild and not as noteworthy as their striking visual presence. Hydrangeas are primarily appreciated for their large, ball-shaped flower clusters that make a dramatic statement in gardens and floral arrangements, appealing more to the sight than the sense of smell.
